As an iconic core engineering branch which has been constantly and continuously carved by students was started in the year 2010. The department has a high profile, qualified, dedicated and motivated faculty with very well equipped labs with facilities for advanced studies and research. As a cornerstone of Engineering it proudly encompasses many exciting subjects such as Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing, Power Plant Engineering, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Mechatronics, Automation and Robotics which have been among the fastest growing and most challenging technologies that enable the development of the modern knowledgeable society.

The Department is conducting various value added courses for the benefit of the students. The students are participating regularly in various co-curricular activities which include technical paper presentation, technical quiz, workshops and CAD contest.
