Keeping in mind the ever growing technical skills of the modern time, the department has a core team of highly qualified, dedicated, motivated and motivating faculty and well equipped laboratories with facilities for UG Programme and advanced studies. This hot pick program trains students in broad areas of Microelectronics, Signal processing, Embedded systems, Communication Engineering / Networking, Fiber Optics and Medical Electronics.

The focus is on the need of the hour to keep abreast of the technological wonders and advancements happening in the developed and developing countries. Our ambition is to bat for quality education and up to date information to the students, so that they find place in the fast track and fast changing profile of the industry. Besides strong academic acumen, the students are mandated to do mini projects and gain hands-on experience with the hardware and the software tools. Visits to industry and expert lectures from academia and industry add another dimension to the teaching learning experience

The department stresses the importance of professional etiquette and instilling in them the ethical values through various training programmes and consultancies.

Guest Lecturers are invited and conducted Quiz programmes and other technical events are organized by the students to encourage the students and to update their knowledge.
